General Internal Medicine
Our general internal medicine specialists will see patients requiring care for a number of health concerns, including hypertension, diabetes, COPD, asthma, ischemic heart disease, congestive heart failure, dyslipidemia, benign hematology, preoperative assessments, venous thromboembolic disease and more.
Oral Medicine & Oral Pathology
Our oral medicine & oral pathology specialist assists patients with diagnosis and treatment of oral mucosal disorders, oral ulcers, pre-cancerous and cancerous lesions, and other related matters. Most of these services are covered by Alberta Health Care.
We are also happy to see patients requiring care for temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJD). Although TMJD is not covered by Alberta Health Care, treatment is often covered by other health care plans.
Edmonton West Primary Care Network (EWPCN)
ECCFM is proudly a member of the Edmonton West PCN. Through this membership, our family medicine patients have access to an expanded team of dedicated health professionals, including primary care nurses, behavioural health consultants, dieticians, exercise specialists, social workers and more.
Onsite Pharmacy
Scripts Medical Pharmacy is conveniently located down the hall from Edmonton Comprehensive Care and Family Medicine. Scripts strives to provide first class pharmacy services and safe patient therapy inline with patients’ health goals.
Pediatric Otolaryngology (ENT) &
Adult Otolaryngology (ENT)
Our otolaryngologists specialize in disorders of the ears, nose and throat. They will see patients requiring care for the following:
- general otolaryngology
- laryngology
- otology / neurotology
- sleep/snoring
- and other complex medical issues involving the head and neck
Oncology
Our oncologists will see patients requiring:
- workup of suspected cancer cases
- workup of suspected recurrent cancer
- management of long-term cancer treatment side effects
- surveillance of cancer patients after treatment and discharge from the Cross Cancer Institute or other similar facility
- cancer screening
*Patients who have completed cancer treatment must have been discharged from the Cross Cancer Institute or other similar facility.
*Patients with suspected cancer must not have already been referred to the Cross Cancer Institute or other similar facility.
Patients will be accepted with or without a referral.
Evening and weekend appointments only during this time.
Most medical services offered at Edmonton Comprehensive Care are covered by Alberta Health Care.
